Swimming, swimming, and you guessed it - more swimming.
People in the ward keep coming up and asking if anything is wrong, if we've hibernated, if we're ever coming out in public again.
Some how a half hour swim lesson in the middle of the day seems to take up the whole day. And when you have swimming four days a week for four weeks, that is kind of all your time and you don't see anyone. But my kids are all learning how to not drown, which is a good thing considering their exploits this summer ;).
Apparently people are all picturing us hiding in dark corners covered in shabby potato sacks (which lets face it, around here it is possible) and dark puffy red circles under our eyes. Apparently we'll be attacking the neighbors next. Given Princess' latest favorite topics, and new habit of screeching like a banshee at just about everything, I can see how people could jump to conclusions.
But no fear, we're still here, we're still alive, and we're still human.
In fact we are planning on attending play group in two weeks. After swim lessons, girls camp, and the family reunion. We are soooo THERE!
